DESCRIPTION:The course offers the knowledge and skills necessary to assist with remediation activities following a hazardous materials incident.  It is designed to meet the training guidelines outlined in the OSHA 1910.120 and WAC 296-843 standards.  This Self-Paced edition allows you to complete the training at a time that is convenient for you.  You will be given 30 days to complete the training once your registration is confirmed and the link to the training materials has been sent. \n       Who Should Attend?  General site workers (such as equipment operators\, general laborers\, transport vehicle operators\, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal where they are required to wear personal protective equipment.  Employees previously 80-hour\, 40-hour\, 24-hour or 8-hour HAZWOPER trained. \n       Cost?  $250 per person  *Cost will increase to $260 for 2024* \n       Resources? Electronic access to Study Guide\, 2020 Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG)\, and NIOSH Pocket Guide will be provided. Reference books will be mailed upon request. \n  \nNote 1: Unless you want to schedule the training for later in the year\, please register for the next available class on the registration page.  Your seminar will begin on the date the confirmation is issued (rather than the date on the registration page); the confirmation with access to the training will be within 2 business days of your registration. \nNote 2: If you would prefer an in-person training\, select OTHER EVENTS above.
